I think there's quite a lot of red dot scope variants made, as they are the most widespread aiming devices in modern armies (after the good old conventional binoculars ofc)

As for the icon, it's certainly useful. The edges somewhat look slightly blurred, but it's not so noticable when combined with other modern icons ingame. Also, this icon crossed one off my already crowded list, thank you for that. Almost forgot: The left side appears to be positioned higher than the right side.

Try using a sharpen filter on the icon, see if it looks any better.

When you know that it's a scope yes, then it's nice.
But when I looked the first time on it I realy didn't know what it was, looks like a stationary bazooka. Well, a pretty big one

As said, a person without knowledge of military weapons would not know its that. But it is good, and can serve as just a scope.
