The glass looks flat and kinda 2D-ish, but the liquid inside is in move and has a 3D-ish appearance. I don't know, maybe you should change the shape of the glass...

I second that. Just a suggestion, but you could try making the liquid less translucent, will look less like colored water and more of a potion... and round out the base of the glass and at the rim, reduce the sharpness of the lines inside the glass by a bit, may help.
Oh and er... forgot to mention that because the lines inside the glass are too clearly defined it ends up looking like a glass inside a glass, which makes the liquid look like just another layer slapped over the whole thing and ends up having it feel like the liquid is displaced outside the glass... okay maybe not THAT bad but you know what i mean.
