Sin'dorei300: Excepting the fact that the shape is traced, the arm doesn't stands out enough from the rest, coz it's kinda blending with the glow.
Also, it's blurry.

It's a shame how blurry the icon became when it got sized down; the large image was really well made

I think that you should use a sharp brush a little more.

It's quite nice but blurred as Mad pointed that out. A bit more sharpen tbh.

Also you might wanna use a different glow for this icon because right now it makes it too blended with the background.

I colorize and shade it by myself. I can manage to upload the psd file if it's really needed. Even though it's really hurt for me.

No, even though this was not made from scratch (hand sketch), but 95% of this icon is purely done by me (coloring, shading, etc). I was just borrowing the hand shape. Thought drawing from scratch doesn't give any extra score, does it?

Drawing from scratch does give an extra score, always, if they're good.
Also, as i said, i'd like to see ur ref pic.

Looks cool. I suggest a small black outline between the hand and the glow to make it distinct. A little sharpen, as said, can help.

Icon Tracing is not allowed. This includes, but is not limited to, applying outlines over existing artwork layers, and using them afterwards.
It is not considered tracing if you draw by LOOKING at reference images - drawing OVER them IS tracing.

Well, it's still better than taking screenshoot, reshape, and sharpen the color. So what should I do?

It's hasn't ''suddenly appeared'', it was there from a long time, u just didn't bother to read it.

So what should I do?

Add ur own contour to the arm to stand out more and make the whole thing clearer.
And don't use tracing again.

The only filter that i use (when needed) is sharpen. Otherwise, i don't use filters and i work with Gimp.

Good job on the update! I love it that the author follows the more experienced artists but does not upload their example (what I see most of the time).
