This is what I managed to create in less then a minut of my time.

First I opened paint, and rotated the picture I took from http://www.scrollsoflore.com/

Then I opened Photoshop and added a filter called "Film Grain"

This is what I managed to achieve in less then a minut. Looks fairly close to yours.
Exept yours is a bit more zoomed in and the saw is moved.

That's a really good looking icon :D, you should upload it, cause both icons (yours and mine) looks good.

Tought I think yours will probably fit more in warcraft3.
