"Your" style is horribly different for every icon you make. You do know stealing a copyrighted image & claiming it as your own is illegal right?

Exactly my thoughts, look at the spell section and you will find tons of spells waiting to be reviewed, while the moderators are only few. The same apply for many resources.

and it isnt just a simple glimpse at and review that takes a second, theres alot more checking that needs to take place

I know they have things to do I am only saying that there are many good people who are good at what they do so why not let this people become moderators so that the stuff of this site increase.

The problem is that Pyra has already asked for a WIP or a big picture, or anything along the sorts, but has not yet received an answer. And while it is likely that these icons are CnP, there is still the possibility that the guy really did create them, and since some of them are rather good looking, it puts Pyra in an awkward position, as he doesn't know whether the icons are CnP or not, and thus whether they should get rejected or not. However, if no proof is shown, Pyra, or other moderators, is forced to reject them.

CnP is copy and paste, "cut" wouldn't make too much sense in this situation.

Received answer from who, you mean the resource submitters ?

A WIP is proof that it is your own work - as you see the icon mid-construction and yes from the resource submitter
