enjoy: The thumb is too short. I think you should use some pictures for reference to your drawing.
The purple outline makes the whole thing blend a bit together, so you should instead use highlights and shading to define your drawing.
Instead of the purple outline, use a purple shading. You can find lots of tutorials on deviant art. Here is an example.

I would also like you to make the lightning strikes sligthly thinner. They take too much focus in the icon, especially since the glove is very dark. Lighten the glove as well.

the fingers look really thick and also seems to have the wrong shape overall. Also the blue lines on the hand look too sharp. Maybe make it more glow-ish instead?

Hm fist is actually a bit misleading since it's supposed to be gloves. I'll change the names.
About the outlining. I have intentionally made them so sharp. But I suppose I can try to make the glow as you suggest.

I.. don't really know it just looks wrong.. however I suspect that it's an illusion of sorts due the outline.

The outline around the gloves distract the eye from the background of the icon since there is a lot of blue going on. I would do something with that blue outline around the glove. Maybe have some electric current flourishing around the glove also.
