Woah, this is over-contrast'ed.

The background is really intense, it should never take as much focus from the main object. Tone it down and give it some proper shape (like well shaped flames and stuff).

The shape of the pendant's great, I'd love to see it un-saturated though, to make this look metallic.

Also, using a different colour for the actual necklace would be wise, it's hardly visible or obvious as a necklace at the moment.

I have to disagree with all but the last point of the first post.

The high contrast and color combination make the skull stand out, while still having a vivid background.

The chains do need to stand out a bit more, though, so that people can actually notice that it's a pendant.
