Actually it's kinda awesome. doesn't really look like crypt fiend, but whatever, not like ypu're forcing us to use it only for crypt fiend...

Looks okay, but the whole icon is highly undefined :S
That's my opinion, and as Zanekok said, it's hard to spot the claws.
I like the way you colored the bg, reversed from the claws' color.
Maybe try another color for claws, or make them lighter?
Some blood effect could be nice, too.

I think that it could serve as a nice addition to the Undead upgrades/abilities. Apheraz Lucent might have a point though, it might be able to improve with some definition.

If you dont see a fury hand with 3 fingers, cloth around it, and every finger have a huge nail, you need to go to doctor.

I shaded claws the way like blizzard's guys shade teeth, nails, claws and I give you bunch of examples.

The only thing here that I could change is a BG. Nothing else.

Well, in game, icons are smaller, and I am sure that players wouldn't like to peek at icons to see what are they. Btw, the claws are more defined when shaded.

Haha, you're probably right. It looked a bit like the claws was melting into the gray hand/foot/whatever, but like I said it's not a big deal, it looks great the way it is.

it just doesn't seem to be so crypt fiendish to me. Crypt fiends are more of spiders, their arms shouldn't be completely hairy, and this one is.. I say it's more of Wereworld or maybe... hmmm, it could be gargolye!

Crypt Fiends are hairy, but not always and not everywhere. Icecrown nerubians are not hairy (even if they are in snowy lands), usual srypt fiend (in undead team) is hairy, but not everywhere. They also have eye like things, spikes near elbow.

Overal, that is a lot of creatures in wc3 that may use this icon.
