You need to work more with your lighting a bit more to help it give that 3D feel. And this is just me, maybe make the handle more thin.

The shading makes it look like paper.
Try applying some harsher contrasts, and use less brightness aswell.

It looks really good, in my opinion, matches with in-game icons and fits gnolls well.

Really nice positioning and all... just a bit... blurry, the ball. Or maybe it lacks a little contrast? No, it has contrast... I don't know.
