Interesting, but you zoomed in way too much, it can hardly be noticed as a whole bagpack. Zoom out and actually show the whole thing.

why the whole? now it can be recognized as a backpack
and zooming this out for more will ruin that angle, that i like to put on my icons

It doesn't look right when it's cropped like that. Compare it to the ingame icon of DustOfAppearance. Since yours is bigger, you should zoom out a little bit more.
Additionally, see what you can do about the buckle. It looks quite flat, try giving it proper highlights.

If I look at I3lackDeath's icons I think (s)he knows what (s)he is talking about. Though I kind of like it already. Bu I have to say that it really looks kind of a flat expecially that metal thing and the near-there part of it.

like people mentioedn the bag itself is rahter too zooomed in. You would need to show enough of the bag to convince that it is a bag and crop enough so it doesnt get small.
