Chapter 1 - The Rise of Xoreth
The world of El'ash was much like ours, but the humans in that world were behind in technology but had something much more powerful, magic. However the magic that the humans of El'ash possessed was only basic until they learned to harness it. The Elves of the city of Haleron taught the humans how to use the magical gifts. Many young sorcerers sought to use magic for the greater good, but some wanted to use it for their own purpose.
A mage known as Xoreth never went to magic school, he managed to learn by himself and so never was registered as a true mage. Xoreth disliked how mages were taught to use magic only as a last resort. He then decided to wander the land in search of people to help his cause. A vast amount of mages rallied to his cause. They became known as the Vash'elos which is known in wizard tongue as 'The Pure'.
The Pure then took over many villages in the outer regions in order to recruit more into their cause. And so The Pure became noticed as a threat and the Elves sent their forces to try and halt them. However this attempt was a failure. Xoreth and The Pure only became stronger and stronger, they started to make their way to the capital of the Institution of Magic which was located in the Elven city.
Anyone who tried to stop Xoreth was either destroyed or eventually pledged themselves to the cause. As Xoreth got closer to the Institution of Magic so did his power. He already controlled most of El'ash and only few places remained resistant to Xoreth and his cause. Eventually Xoreth reached the Elven City, he ordered an immediate attack, within a few minutes they had blasted through the defences. Xoreth was victorious.
