So, I made a custom unit ability, Breath of Death, based of f Breath of Fire. I replaced the fire breath with some other breath model, and I replaced the Breath of Fire buff with a custom buff based off of it, Breath of Death (buff). I also made a trigger that picks all units in map every second and, if they have the Breath of Death buff, damages them and creates a special effect at their location.
Two problems:
1. The units aren't getting buffed for some reason. I have the buff in the ability appropriate ability field. Also the units are getting damaged by the Breath of Death skill (though, for some reason--probably because they aren't being buffed--they aren't receiving the damage over time).
2. Because they are not being buffed, the trigger won't do the damage detect+damage.
So, really, it's one problem: units aren't being buffed.
Anyone know what to do?
