How do I put items like this onto the models? So far, I've only been able to add different models to my maps and really nothing more than that.

It almost looks as if there is blue light in the blade which makes it very cool.

hey very nice!!! im new here so hello. well i like it very mutch 4/5 caus of the tentacle thing... if u could remove that and/or make a cooler thing whit like skulls or something i might consider to use it as Sword of a 1000 truths in my game =D well nice model anyway! =D
UPDATE: i will also use this tentacle model for Kraken Drop (Tenta Blade) gona be prety cool if u make the skull thing to il let u test my map too and put u in map testers =D
