There exist tools for this, use GhostWolf link and you will find multiple programs that allow you to convert your .blp into .tga

Oh, wow, silly me. It's a wonder I've been able to do any skins at all without that information... Heck, one might even consider it impossible...
Pardon my sarcastic tone. I appreciate you guys trying to help, it just wasn't what I was looking for.

To clarify this request: I'm without my own computer for a while, and I've borrowed a MAC computer from work. Every BLP converter here is for Windows only, save one for Macs which is too outdated to work for my current OS.
So, the request still stands if anyone wants to help out.

All OS X machines have Apple JDK 1.6 by default. I think it would be a cool project regardless. There are very few utilities that support linux/mac (without requiring some WINE config).
