Blood Elf Skins

As my newest project i have decided to make an entire blood elf army via skins i will post more as my ideas come together, here is a preview on the armor of one of the skins

It will eventually become a Blood Pallid And look nothing like an orc but i havent started on the skin yet :/

hmm..its not bad, at first i thought it was a recolour, now i noticed your adding patterns, goodjob. Will the wolf be white?

I'd like to see t wrapped. So far it doesn't seem too bad for Warcraft at all. Though the face might be a bit too barbaric for an elf. And no ears.

Just thinking out loud here, what about making the wolf blood red? Maybe a black slash mark over one eye, similar to Kakashi from Naruto? Not sure what else I could think of but so far it looks cool, keep up the good work

It's nice except the head looks retarded, because its nothing like a helmet at all, fix that and this will be awesome But honestly it looks like hes wearing some kind of retarded veil because itr doesn't hold the shape or any characteristics of a helmet...

That head sucks, no offence, Make the helmet look like one not an Orc in clown makeup. I think the wolf should be orange like the guys that Belfs fight in their starting area. Good so far nonetheless.

Maybe this wasn't the best model to make a blood elf out of. Especially since he is riding a wolf.

For the helmet try to define features so the face appears narrower and more pointed, like that of a blood elf.

Yeah, base the skin on the hawkrider, as thats the blood elf mount, and that's a blood elf on top of it.

Far more practical and helpful to the skinner and makes you look less lazy.

Well its practically impossible to reskin an orc on a wolf to look bloodelf without making it majorly horrible...

Simply make the wolf white (havnt checked if it is, iv completly forgotten) , give it a blonde headed human face with green eyes and done. Its pretty simply, but the teeth will get in the way.

no but the orc head, hair styles and body don't match those of a blood elf at all. it wouldn't look very good, and a blood elf on a wolf, even white, would be odd, since blood elves are known for their multicoloured beasts.

not really, id picture them riding white steeds since i think the red armour on the horse and on the BE would work lovly with them.

Just wanted to say think human, i have no xp in this stuff but maybe somin like a knight or that annoying guy on the horse from the campaigns. Make that slver horse armor red and you got yourself one hell of a horse. Also theres always the human Archmage hero guy he can turn well id say. (if you want orc i recommend getting a new head mod for them all cause their heads look liek crappy BE!

Id suggest using alpha channels on the teeth and get rid of them. Then extend the helm into a half helm sort of thing that shows the persons face. (kinda like a gladiator helm). Then, you can edit the face and just give the bloodelf a beard.

mph...i agree,it looks like an orc with makeup.since when have blood elves ride wolves and used war hammers?work on it man,work on it,scrapping it and making from scratch wud be better tho

About his hair style... Though the orc-styled head might prove difficult, think of the elves in LoTR - the movie. They had the hair so close to their skull. Legolas would be a good starting point.

That's the idea! Why make it a gruesome task, when you can make it so much easier on yourself by doing it another way... such as not basing a blood elf skin on an orc?!
