Hi, I'm currently working on an altered melee that involves Zerg, and I have a killer texture for creep, but I was wondering what the pathing for Blight was so I could replace it with my creep?

Ok, Well i couldn't find a way to change the tile of Blight to any other tile, I did find a away to mimic the way a scourge building produces Blight if that will help.
  • Event: Unit - Finishes Construction
  • Condition: (Unit type(Of Triggering unit)) Equal to Farm house
  • Action: Enviroment - Change terrain type at (Postition of(Trigering unit)) to Dark Desert using variation -1 in an area of 5 and shape circle
-1 makes it random variation, and 5 is a pretty pig area, counting 50 coverd my whole map.
Hope this helped

Well, in essence, I'm replacing the Blight with Creep to give it a Zerg feel, and is trying to avoid some work by just replacing the texture. the trigger wouldn't have the effect that blighted land has

I am pretty sure I know how to check, but I am on my grandparents comp and lol, no they do not have wc3 installed, but tomorrow I will check. There shouldnt be any problem importing the texture and replacing it over the blight thing. Ill check tomorrow if its not figured out.

I looked with Wc3Viewer, the textures lie at TerrainArt\Blight\Ashen_blight.blp etc (according to the tileset you use - maybe its the main problem, each tileset has its own blight, and it is needed to point not a single texture, but dependance between tileset and texture). Maybe you could replace some textures in the MPQ but that would mean that your Starcraft mod will include its own MPQ to replace the main (and to return it back when you wanna play a normal map). I doubt there is a way to change something in the map interface. Even trees have their own blight texturing. And trees are linked with Mount Giants who use them (with their native textures!) as weapons, so it stucks deeply.

TerrainArt\Blight\Outland_blight.blp will do. I just wanted the main texture path, and I won't have to worry that much about the Mountain Giant's War Club much. And the normal blight texture for the trees should do. Thanks for the help!
