Two days ago, the biggest Russian gaming expo IgroMir began, which was also attended by Blizzard representatives. During the event, StarCraft II was available to the public and a panel by Chris Sigaty, lead producer on StarCraft II, was held. The Russian gaming website Goha.ru wrote a summary of the panel. Currently, there is no official translation of the information and the majority of it is merely a recap of what was said during BlizzCon earlier this year. However, Sigaty has confirmed that the StarCraft II beta has been pushed back to 2010.

/sigh

Blizzard never gave a solid answer, they just said they were aiming for beta this year.

They said that last year! You lie!

Well, its typical for Blizzard to do this. They cant make godly models quickly with milkshape can they? Lol Jk

Its normal for blizzard to hold back its games years farther. Its just blizzard.

You guys have to remember that the game itself is pretty much done and all that is left is to work on Battle.net 2.0.

I know that's what they said, but I wonder how much the crappy economy is having an impact on the release date. (Since the original follows the beta by a couple months or so.) Especially since they're moving the WOW players over to 2.0...

Whatever. I'm sure no one is surprised...
