Best way to add effect

Im trying to do something very simple and for some odd reason its not working...

all i want to do is add the freezing breath art on someone with a trigger.
i made it a buff and then added it to an attribute bonus ability and hid the icon then i thought when i gave the unit that ability the effect would show but it isnt.. i have a feeling there is an easier way and im doing something very stupid...

try use trigger

if the model you are using doesn't have the right attachment points, then it wont show up.

y not use object editor?

you want the buff on the projectile or on the unit ?

for on the unit in object editor goto Art - Target = frost effect
for projectile Combat - Projectile = frost effect
