Best map ever?

This is more like a suggestion than a thread to discuss.
I know this site has excellent terrainers,Jassers,modelers,skiners and so on...
Why don't you people create a map all together?I'm pretty sure you can co-operate and make one of the best maps ever!

jassers, terrianers, skiners, etc is not enough to make "the best map ever", I think.

A totally new, great ideea for a map that could be liked by every kind of warcraft player is what map-making needs.

No TD, no AoS, no whatever exists now. Something new, ORIGINAL.

I said and so on...meaning we need people for all "jobs".

I would venture that I don't think there is anyone on this site that can properly design something to be the "best map ever."

Why not?I'm pretty sure they can do this...think the possibilities of having the best people in what they do work all together,and maybe it won't be the best map ever,but one of the best.

First of all, I am not sure if the Hive has all of the best people in all modding regards here. Secondly, even if it does, I highly doubt they could all work together on something like a map. (Everyone wants their own ideas done, and feature creep would destroy the map unless certain things were cut - and then people would leave the project) Lastly, as I said before, I've not encountered anyone on this site that would be capable of designing the map to be excellent.

I have tried to make some maps with some people and they all failed, because the other guy puts something ugly and sucks on that and that and think thats better and that, but he just fucks up everything.

I guess then when people are really good,they get arrogant and selfish thus...it is unable for them to co-operate.
But still i guess it would deserve a try.
Just one thing,they should put aside they selfish "ego" and work together

It may not even be an issue of ego, though. Why should someone work on a map when the things they want to see in the map won't even be present? It would be much more effective for them to find a map team that supports their specific ideas. That's the main reason why you could never get some huge conglomerate of modders together working happily on a single map.

In a way anyone who uses THW to help create thier maps is working with many other people because if you look hard enough you can find almost anything you need to create the best maps in THW, you just need the time and will power.

We had a private forum. No noobs were getting in.

I think it was mostly lack of motivation/direction or just plain laziness. Maybe the group was too big? Dunno.
