Base abiities for buffs and effects

What are the best abilities to use when you want to apply buffs and give effect to the item?

Is there such ability that when aquired, applies effects to the hero along with buff, and displays custom missile effect when attacking enemies? I kinda need all of that in 1 ability..

a single buff for the unit = aura
changed attack projectile = lightning attack ability

You can use orb items to create a custom missile. Since it is an orb effect you can pair it with an aura.

Remember. Orb Effects only triggers when it hits a unit. So if you want to apply a buff to the Attacker or hero as well you need to pair it with an Aura that targets Self or just trigger it.

Try experimenting with different orb abilities.
