I have used a picture with tinypic to get background of my profile. But it did not work. What link and how to get background editing in customize profile. Not the colors, the picture.

Why should I do that?

Because on the customize profile menu it is clearly said at the top that:

Background images must come from your albums. Enter the URL to a picture in one of your public or profile albums.
