Avenger's shield... help please?

so i've sat here for abt an hour looking through triggers and such, trying to figure out how to go about making an MUI Avenger's Shield (from World of Warcraft), it's a spell where a paladin throw's a shield at the target and then bounces twice, the targets become silenced and take damage. i want to make it mui and gui, but i just can't figure out how.. help? i've been using Sleep as the triggering ability

If you don't understand it, I suggest you start improving your GUI skills before you even think about spell making.

use index system or hastables, for silence, use incinerate ability, it's quite easy...

i believe that ability was called Soul Burn, not Incinerate...
and i would suggest that you check the spells section, i'm sure there is at least one chain spell GUI MUI enough that you can use as baseline.
