I have played a map some time ago and a hero in there had an ultimate which was an aura that bestowed a huge mana regeneration as well as a health regeneration, now to my knowledge there is no aura that can be altered to give such an effect, any idea of how this was done ? I plan to use a similar ability in a map, but have no clue how to get this done. Any help would be appreciated.

The healing abilities from fountains of life and mana do what you're thinking of. Base a hero ability on that.

  • Events
    • Unit - A unit learns a skill
  • Conditions
    • Learned Hero Skill equal to HealthAura
  • Actions
    • If (cond) then ... else
      • If
        • (Level of HealthAura for (Triggering Unit) equal to 1)
      • Then
        • Unit - Add ManaAura to (Triggering Unit)
        • Unit - For (Triggering unit) ManaAura: do disable false hide ui true //the line is something like this to hide the ability, might be necessary might not
      • Else
        • Unit - Set level of ManaAura for (Triggering Unit) to (Level of HealthAura for (Triggering Unit))

You cant set it up as a hero ability directly because it does not appear in the items panel. I think some other method was used
