Ok what is formula for attack speed.

Lets take Hero has base attack speed of 2.
10 agility which gives (2% IAS each, so 20% IAS).
Item that gives 15% IAS.

So how would it work ? 20%+15%=35% of 2=0.70
So speed would be 1.3? Doubt it...

Or it all goes separately:
20% of 2 is 0.40, so now speed is 1.6
15% of 1.6 is 0.24, so final speed is 1.6-0.24=1.36?

Tnx but why is there that number 1 ? Dont get it :D. It says somtn per game second, why is that important? Sry but 1st time going through this.

(2)/(1+0.35)=1.45 Would be for mine example ?

Edit: ok got it just dont understand why there is 1+, but probbly just that must be.

In % calcs 1 is normally 100%
It must have something to be with default attack speed or maximum. Too lazy to check.

"Attack Speed bonuses stack linearly. All bonuses are added together at once and applied. This means that the more attack speed bonuses you get, the less effective they are."

This means each bonus goes towards the base.

So if you have a Base attack speed at 2.00 seconds, and have 1 item that is 20% IAS, and another that is 25% IAS, you add them together (20% + 25% = 45%).

Then simple math... .45 x 2.00 = .9.

2.00 - .9 = 1.1

1.1 is your attack speed with a total of 45% IAS if the base speed was 2.00.

Now the DOTA site gives you the formula to figure out the ATTACK SPEED PER GAME SECOND. This formula is "(1+IAS)/(BAT)"

BAT = Base Attack Time. IAS = Increased Attack Speed.

The 1 is a static value for the game time, it is always needed for this formula.
