Attachment not showing on certain hero

Hi !
I have a model custom made and i made a sword for the hero but when i try to attach the sword to the hero ingame it doesn't show ... but i try it on other units and the attachment shows up as i want ... does anyone know what's wrong ?

Check where you attach it too. If the hero is custom made you might have forgotten a attachment point.

hmmm ... can you tell me what do you mean by that ? i'm kinda new so ... ya know ... btw the attachment point is "hand,right" is there anything needed to the custom model to have attachment points ?

He means that if the model you want to attach it to is a custom model, there's a chance that the creator didn't add that attachment point or put it under a different name. You need to use Magos' Model Editor to check out which attachment point is called that way. You can download Magos' at the Tools Section.

First i didn't find the program maybe because its not named exactly "Magos' Model Editor"
And second how do i fix the attachment point on the model's hand ?

Sorry, forgot to mention: In the Tools Section it's named war3ModelEditor I believe.
As for the attachment point fixing: I'm not known with that part of modelling, so I can't help you there.

ok ... so can you teach me how to attach the sword to the model with a program but whidouth affecting the model in any way ?

You should check if the right hand attachment of the model is indeed named that way with Magos'.
