Hello ElvishSlayer, I've just played your map, Ashenvale Assult and have a few comments about it. First of all, I must comment on your misspelling of Assault. You spelled it Assult, and I find errors in the title of any map quite infuriating. However, let's ignore that for now. I guess I can say that you gave a proper description with credits and all, but it would look much better with use of screenshots and BBCodes. Now, I admit, my expectations were quite low when I started the game in singleplayer, but my expectations were right on. You had no opening cinematic, no backstory, no quests to explain why these two heroes were in this forest. You just had a bunch of Murguls attack the players as soon as they finished loading. You should really have an opening cinematic that explains the whole story, and then ends with the Murguls attacking the Elves. Now, your player heroes. It's nice that you put in the effort to import some custom models for them, but their abilities are absolute crap. They're regular Warcraft 3! They don't even have modified tooltips to fit the situation! "The Warden hurls a flurry of knives, damaging nearby enemies." "Confuses the enemy by creating illusions of the Blademaster and dispelling all magic from the Blademaster." Those tooltips have no right to be in this map! Atleast change the heroes mentioned in the tooltips to High Elf Rogue, but changing the effects and the icon would be much more aesthetically pleasing. There was some synergy in the hero abilities, so I'll give you that. I liked how you've implemented items with attachments, but the tooltips for the items don't fit, and the items seem to have no real use for the heroes. There's also a spelling error in the Ancient Armor's description, it's "heroes", not "heros". The terrain is also quite bad. There is only one tile used, no height variation, no doodads other than trees in most areas. Put some effort into the terrain! Finally, the gameplay. The game is quite boring. It takes a long time to get a level, especially with a partner. Next, even though the player cannot reach the Naga Necromancer, he can use spells to kill her and her minions. I like how she could cast spells, but even with her spells, the boss fight was quite boring.
Overall, your map isn't very original or well polished. I see no reasons as to why this map should be accepted.
