The Warsong Clan antagonizing the humans makes complete sense but not thralls forces. You see a Tuaren Cheiften in their ranks meaning Thrall already has met Caine and atleast heard about the oracle. Thrall would have already had Grom there(whom is missing?) for in the prior mission waging battle against the humans as in the original campaign. speaking of which the oracle. He is very in tune to the events of the world yet doesnt go to Jaina about going to Kalimdor, doesnt go to the humans of Kalimdor to tell them to meet up with him where he can bind an alliance between the horde and the alliance. On top of all of that you kill Thrall off which wouldnt have gone down like that, nevermind wanting to avoid conflict.
Thrall's forces reluctantly assisted Grom's in the original campaign and defeated the humans, before Thrall sent Grom to Ashenvale. In this timeline, Arthas and Jaina fought off the orcs, who retreated to Ashenvale. There, Arthas and Jaina's forces pursued the orcs and Grom was able to escape, but Thrall wasn't as fortunate. As for Medivh, he does inform King Terenas about what's going on in the beginning of WC3, but is dismissed. And he tries to convince Arthas in the cutscene right before where the culling of Stratholme mission.
