Arrow aura? (really long aura?)

I need a long aura, basically like those games that have arrow guides to show where your shooting so you dont miss your target. i need a aura like that with the arrow facing up. If its possible to make auras this long

Facing up? You mean it's facing overhead of the unit or just infront of the unit?

EDIT: nope not what i needed, i need an aura kinda like that, except skinnier and need it not to change the way it facing accordining to the unit its attached to, i need the arrow to keep facing up/west and need it to be a bit longer.
