Arena map triggering help needed!

Ok im new to the whole map making thing and ive gotten as far as i could without help, but im stumped. I've read about making leaderboards and all but i still cant figure out how to make one on my own. I need to be able to creat a leader board that counts hero kills, ive found info on making one that counts normal unit kills but couldnt figure out how to make it hero specific and it crashed my game when i tried. Any help would be MUCH appreciated, i may be asking a lot but if someone could type it out step by step i would be very grateful.

How many players do you got in your map?

If it is over 8 players you will have to use a multiboard instead of a leaderboard or you must go for 2 leaderboards.
