And you do realize that this could have easily been done by printing all of the images and posing, aye? Theoretically speaking.
Several indicators speak against it, but then: can this be considered art?
We have cameras with a crapload of megapixels, why would you want to spend your time on trying to reproduce what can be done much easier?

Hmm yes, surprisingly, those weren't painted because they couldn't afford a camera, but because it's cool. Just because I don't like something, I don't see any reason to go on bashing something that clearly takes lots of time, effort and skill.
