Anyone modling with 3dsmax2010 ?

Well I would like to ask to how does your exporting process look like ?

Coz if I export, lets say box, which has 6 sides, and I smooth each 2 sides that are across each other with same smoothing groups; so I would have 3 smoothing groups.

Now when I export this model to mdl, in Warcraft 3 I would have strange shading. Anyone familiar with this error ?
I found a way to remove this error, but I would have to de-attach polygons by smoothing groups and then again attach them. I would really like to avoid that if possible.
