Anybody know where this sound loop is from???

Feeling nostalgic, I decided to check out some of my old old Warcraft III maps, and I found one of my old survival horror maps, with this sound loop in it. I remember I had gotten this loop from an old Starcraft 1 map, and the author of that didn't remember where he had gotten it from. Now I'm just really really curious about where this thing came from. I've attached it in a zip.
