I know full well that this is a gaming website but i was hoping that since a lot of people on this site seem to like anime and manga (you even had to sticky the anime models here post [lol]) that maybe we could add a section for discussion, opinions, and recommendations of anime and manga among the members?

It is of my opinion that anime and manga, unlike almost all other topics, are completely unrelated to this site, and that we don't even get that many threads about such things, and therefore I would advise against this fine proposition. The off-topic forum should be sufficient, for the most part. Even for a weeaboo like me.

Manga and anime are the same as every other form of comic or TV show, except that they've been embraced a lot more by modern nerd culture

We don't have a need for a forum just for it. Not to mention no one ever posts topics on them in off-topic, so it'd just be a forum that'd lie ignored

Just sign up on a hentai forum like all the others. This site is all about WC3, and to some extent, the minorities of low quality, crude anime maps.

Really off-topic does cover this, but not everyone who plays or mods WC3 watches anime or manga (The only anime I will ever defend is Monster Rancher and Cowboy Bebop), so yeah, off-topic really should do.

I don't like Naruto and DBZ because they're both retarded. I can't take either of the shows seriously, and most other anime is just too wierd and/or confusing for me to follow seriously, with the exception, again, of Monster Rancher (Not so much anymore, but I followed it as a kid), Cowboy Bebop, and Hellsing, which is actually a really great show. Cowboy Bebop is great too.

But regardless, the forum isn't needed and would draw away from our WC3 modding theme.

The thing I don't like about DBZ is that one battle seems to take about 4 weeks to do:
Two episodes to charge up a huge beam of doom
One episode to fire said huge beam
1.5 episodes for it to fly throught the air (all the time way too much AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
At least one episode for it to hit
Then another one for the dust to clear, then in the last one we find that he dodged, or is unaffected (another episode to contemplate this)

Sorry if I'm hugely exaggerating, but it does seem to have way too many pumped up people fighting for too long.

Most of the people that enjoy anime enough to merit its own forum here are idiot fanbois/grlz. They usually leave because they ask obvious questions and get answers that are less than helpful, because of how obvious or simple the questions are. Since they're all leaving, there isn't much of a point in creating a whole new sub-forum for them.
