I am posting this because I am curious if someone has accomplished this. I've searched through threads and tutorials and came acrossed nothing of it. Is there a way to make an expanding or contracting texture on a transparent model? As in, a circular shield model, with a random shockwave texture starting in the middle expanding outwards (or starting on the outer edges contracting to the center), while looped? And by this I mean the texture on the geoset itself, not the model.

Yes, that I have been able to do, what I tried explaining is what I cannot do. The texture animation im talking about only works on a bone, but then the model itself expands. Maybe its just because im using magos for it.

magos has a few bugs
it displays texture TRANSLATION but cant save it as mdx well as many others things
saving as mdl and then converting it to mdx with some other tool works though (but it messes up the width and height of particle emitters)

it probably will be easier to create a plane and scale it instead of scaling the texture

Woo! I've figured out a way of getting texture anim to work *finally* thanks to you D4RK! It's not exactly how I wanted but I know how to tweak it now. +rep
The model attached is right hand specific.
