A nice and useful doodad model for sci-fi decorations. Works in-game.

Wouldn't it have been easier if all of those were alternate stances?

Not really. In the end it'd save more space to pack it all into a single model. You should also include a blank 'off' screen, and an error bluescreen.

hmmm good suggestions I will try that
and I think the blank "off" screen and blue screen should be added to their animations

I say, keep it as it is. Space concerns are no longer the main concern and for people it is easier to change the path of a model than changing the animation handles via triggers or something.

The models look very cool, but I would recommend you to alter the 'radar' one a little bit. Right now it looks like piece of cheese rotating around.

I for one would not encourage people to throw all the available resources in your map just because you can, changing the animations would work much the same as Town Hall upgrade stances.

Must you not forget that when a map exceeds a certain size it will load slower and slower, not to mention the download speed on b.net which is not the best.

We must not let ourselves get lazy and not try polish our models or lower filesize just because of a new update.

I definitely agree with that. Most of us are lazy enough as is, especially in regard to modelling for WC3. Case and point, 'footman upskirts'. We take shortcuts, that's always been our thing.

That has nothing to do with lazyness but more like easier use and access. We are talking about 15-30 kbs here, even with potato internet you can manage that.

Using it as a doodad will be more difficult if they are not separate models, so I'd also say, keep it as it is. Really creative useage of ingame ressources btw.

Would it be possible to make a decay animation? this is amazing honestly. Would be better if these were all part of one model - but each a different morph - would be able to switch computer screens like that! :)
