Animated Avatar Problem (Also)

Ok I wanted to post in the other thread about this exact problem but it was closed.

My avatar is also faulty. I have noticed multiple animated avatar's of other members which have problems as well. If you look at my avatar you'll see the second frame is filled with purple squares. The original does not have purple squares. I tried uploading it several times to no effect.

Since this problem seems to be sort of wide spread I though I'd post about it.

If your avatar is larger than the maximum dimensions imposed by the Hive, the forum software might be automatically trying to resize the avatar to fit within the limits. My suggestion: check the signature limits in your UserCP and make sure the image you are using is within the limits before you try uploading it.

The maximum size of your custom image is 100 by 100 pixels or 97.7 KB (whichever is smaller).

Hmm weird. The original image is 11 pixels to wide. Still you'd think the image resizer would be able to handle an 11 pixel change. I'll try importing a smaller version

Nonetheless, uploading an avatar image which is above the allowed dimension size is (no offense) retarded. Instead I would recommend that you use an image which is 100x100 or below in order to get the best result. That is if you optimized the image correctly. Some images aren't meant to be used as avatars.
