I want to make a spell that lays an electric fence on the ground. The fence will have 2 pillars and a lightning effect from one to the other. I want the fence to be parallel with the unit's facing direction. What I did was put a dummy at target point of ability being cast and I wanted to base the 2 pillars location based on that unit but I can't find the proper way to adapt the angle to the triggering unit's facing direction. I don't know if this make sense to you guys, english is my second language but if you can't understand I'll try to re explain.

Sorry to ask, but are you sure you mean parallel?

Parallel lines have the same angle, so the wall would start at a point and go away from the caster, towards his facing angle.

Perpendicular lines, however, will make it so that the caster will be facing the side of the wall. To do this, you just need to add 90 to the caster's facing angle.
