Is the Y axis in SC2 completely flipped?
I add a negative value to any dialogs for the Y axis (x,y) and the text goes up.. I add a positive number and it goes down.
However the x axis seems to be fine (positive right, negative left).

Nope, the X and Y axis is perfectly correct and follows usual display conventions.

Incase you do not know these, the top left corner is always the origan of a graphic target. This applies to interface design in JAVA and Python so it would be stupid if SC2 did otherwise.

Yes but..
For example..

(Dialog Item A) anchored to the (Center) of (Dialog A) with an offset of (50, 100) will set the DItem to 50 units right, 100 units down (from the center of the dialog, seeing as how that is where it is anchored from).

So the origin in this case would be the top left of the center of the dialog? Heh..

Yeh the Y axist basically is inverted but that is because the origan is the top left and the area of the screen is positve. This is the univeral convention for UI.
