First of all , hi hiveworkshop,hi map makers,hi great people and all members or guests viewing this topic.

As i said before am tapion , if u go to introduce area u will find me , i introduced my self before and i said my ideas for making a map ,

now i have got the summer holiday ,i want to make a ( M A P ) i know its very hard and a great thing that u can do ,and thats why am at this topic!

I want all of ur help map makers ,who can help at modding , who can help at triggering,who can help at scripts anything !

I have been thinking in a Great story , my map will be a Single Player RPG, (accualty the one who made me think like that is great Kobas and RDZ)

they are really great single player map makers , so If any of u can help me

Please post in this topic and tell me what u can help at,

currently i can't do anything at world editor ,i just play people maps , and i always wish if i can make my own map ! so if any of u can help,post here and tell me , or if u got any ideas , also post ,

I suggest posting at "Project Recruitment" or "Idea Factory". This forum is more of a WE stuff requesting forum. And I would suggest to use white font color or something that doesn't hurt our eyes. It would help you get readers and posters in your thread too. Good luck with this concept though.

Note that story is often considered secondary/easy. So it's a good idea to learn something more. I can do just as well I think.

Orange is what I can do, but haven't done much, so I might not be good at it.

Additionally I make stuff in GUI, JASS and basic vJASS(I don't see a reason to use most of what vJASS provides)

I can tell you about where most of the things are in the editor//how they're done/doable.

I can tell you what I can do(if you give me an idea of what you want).

Some stuff that I can definitely make:
Knockback/Pulling in 2D(without height)
a BonusMod
Item drop system that allows you to keep a set number of items per type(configurable). Separate types can have separate limits.
A system that changes the movespeed of units depending on terrain(like moving slower in thick grass)

AI for special units

The Saint
Follows all player-owned units nearby. Heals them if necessary and keeps an inner fire buff on them. Revives immediately if killed.

A unit indexer

A system for stats such as:

Lifesteal amount,lifesteal percent,manasteal amount,manasteal percent,damage,soak(reduces damage by amount),custom resistances(configurable),evasion that has a higher chance when moving(depending on speed),feedback.
All of them being stackable(even lifesteal percent) and affected by items

However, I will not do most of the work in any case. Pretty much noone would.

Tbh, yes. Most users would join a project that would seem like it would succeed. Not trying to say yours won't, but you don't have the credentials yet, atm. If you can do some stuff like making the terrain and posting some screenshots, then it would lure some people here.

No need to be sorry. You posted in the right section anyways, just wait for someone to help. What I'm saying is, you won't get that far by only doing the story/lore, try studying how to make a good terrain. That's a good starting point for a project, so you can add some screenshots for your map.

You should fix the way you spell words and your story is kind of weird. Make your story more formal to look at.

Story is understandable and clear but the way words are spell are quite disturbing, remember dont take any kind of situation as a joke. Only make jokes at some part...

Actually If you will see, most of your words are mispelled and not formally written:

• Unknown should be spelled like this and not Unknwon
• Your should not be pronounced as Ur
• Waaa is better than WAH
• Oh should not be pronounced O
• Sorry should not be shorten to Sry especially when writing a formal story
• Talkin should be Talking
• Yeah should not pe prounounced Ya
• Dam should be spelled Damn
• Dont use NP but No Problem, shortening words will make you look like lazy on even spelling a word
• K or KK should be Ok or Okay

Other problems are caused by this:

• Not capitalizing of words that should be capitalize such as words that starts in a sentence or statement
• Some wrong use of words
• Wrong use of peroids, coma and such

Okay I'm very sorry , I will post a new story soon , The map is going to be About,, 3 things I'm not sure which to choose . it's going to be about a Mystical staff that you will use in your own purpose ! good or bad , Warrior or Magician , i will soon post all chapters , it's going to be a nice campaign and this time i promise that it will be good
1-Someone who found the mystical staff that will use it to be good but people trick him to be bad and then he will wake up from the tricks and go to kill them.
2-The mystical staff is an Artifact which is lost at somewhere , Your king is going to order you to go find it with an assist of some brave warriors , and then u will find it , are you willing to give it back or to keep the power for Your self .....
3-What is this ? what is this staff? i better go give it to someone who knows its true power , you will choose between selling the staff that you found in the middle of forest held by a died huge animal , what can make a huge animal use this staff if it's useless? going to sell it for huge money amount , or are you willing to gain the ultimate power ?


Help me to choose a kind of story , i have been voting for 1 actuality and i thought of Making it a RPG map , so you can do whatever you want , because if it's campaign it's going to be ORDER ON YOU TO PLAY THIS, but i don't want to do this , i want people to remember my map even after like 6 years ( if you go to RDZ blog site your going to see posts since 2007 and posts till Yesterday ) People say that they have grown with his maps , anyways thanks for ur help , if you can give me some ideas , or help me in making the map , or even if you would like to vote for a story line from the 3 , i will be happy for that and thanks everybody

You should work more on those storylines, and you should get a bit more rep before starting any other ambitious projects (that's what I'm doing as a newbie) However if you want you can make a simple RPG map, with some help from here, I can do some stuff for you; but don't expect me to do the whole map.
I'm kin of good with storylines, I wrote two books and a campaign that was actually never created.
