Age of Warcraft

Hey there fellow Warcraft 3 fans,

Our ongoing project is dedicated to introducing the multi-faction element into the game. Our goal is to enhance nearly all of Blizzard's official melee maps by incorporating additional factions.

At this point we have 15 factions. The link of our installer is here.

The factions are as follows:
  • Kingdom of Lordaeron
  • Scarlet Crusade
  • Kingdom of Dalaran
  • Orcs of the New Horde
  • Tauren
  • Zandalari Trolls
  • Lost Ones
  • Undead
  • Night Elves
  • Blood Elves
  • High Elves
  • Naga
  • Darkspear Trolls
  • City-State of Theramore
  • Amani Empire
To enhance the gaming experience, we have created numerous custom assets and abilities. Furthermore, we have developed Blizzard-like AIs for each of our custom factions, ensuring challenging and dynamic gameplay whether you're playing solo or with friends. You can also check out our Ai presentation video to see how our mod plays out.

We have released racial, faction abilities and elite units for each faction. Quality-of-life changes such as traders for resources (gold/wood).

We plan in the near future to Include Siege Maps, new armor shops that will change the skins of heroes and enhance their abilities. Furthermore, we plan to create many tavern heroes to enhance the gaming experience.

As for our numerous custom assets, all of them are free to be used by the community (with crediting us, of course). We also plan to create guides on how to use our assets, build your own AIs, and create your own submods/campaigns.

Looking further ahead, we are planning to create a soft rework of the campaign by using our factions and emphasizing the multi-faction element that we provide.

Roadmap for our Development:

First Expansion (released 19.7.2025) :

-New Faction: The Darkspear Trolls
-Racial and Faction Traits
-Elite special units for all factions
-Two new heroes for the Undead: The Necrolord and The Boneguard
-All factions reworked with new gameplay mechanics
-A new market to exchange gold for lumber and vice versa
-New Map added the Twisted Meadows
-A new experimental Tavern Hero the Justicar

Second Expansion (released 17.5.2026) :

-Two new factions: the Amani Trolls and the City-State of Theramore
-New Tavern heroes
-New maps
-Faction Leader System

Third Expansion:

-Two new factions: the Forsaken and the Dwarves of Ironforge
-Some experimental upgradable heroes, obtainable through special items
-New maps

We may include additional features in these expansions.

Hello dear mod developers! I am eager to try out your mod, but you can't be too cautious when it comes to computer security :) Could you please clarify, why exactly does your installer needs administrator privileges to run? In my opinion if the game is not located on system drive and you don't create registry entries in HKLM (in most cases HKCU is enough) you don't need admin to install the mod. But your installer even if I run it as non-admin user asks for admin password in the process and denies to continue without it.

As I see you're using Advanced Installer -- maybe you can show it's action list to see whether you really need admin privs to install?

Hey there, If you take a close look at the issues we've addressed so far, most Windows 11 users experienced problems with the installer because we modified the game's registry. This was necessary for the game to read our assets in your game folder. However, granting admin privileges resolved the issue. By the way, this wasn't necessary in Windows 10.

Where can I do that? I've looked through both this and installer topic and hadn't found that.

But still I'm unable to install the mod without adm privs on Windows 10 :(
In our discord server, where we provide most of the technical support for our mod.
As Deme said, we have made it mandatory because of computers that have windows 11.

Hello, good afternoon. I was wondering, where did these go? Draenei especially, Forsaken Humans and Elves, Kul Tiras Humans, Fel Orcs, Nerubians and Satyrs, Demons of the Burning Legion...

Since the Draenei were created together with Lorecraft Designs, we will be able to include them in our mod once they release the Chains of Conquest campaign.

Our next expansion will introduce the Dwarves of Ironforge and the Forsaken. As for the other races, you will need to be a bit patient.

As you can see, there are already many in-game assets, which is why the progress percentage appears as it does. However, each faction still requires significant work to become fully playable. We cannot simply create everything instantly.

Of couse, I know that full well. I was just asking since it is mentioned they would be included in the original release. Thank you for answering.

The original release is the demo, and in the article we clearly state: “For the first full release are the factions of the List below:
” We have also outlined a roadmap, and with each expansion, we are progressing toward the full release of the mod.

Are you conisdering including Ogres in any faction, since I don't see them as their own separate one? I know a third horde is not planned (Dark Horde - Blackrock remnant of the old horde of Blackhand) but I was just curious where do they go? Don't get me wrong I love what you've done here and can't wait to try out any and all the factions!

The only ogre faction we are considering including is the Stonemaul Clan, with Rexxar as the faction leader, but that will come at a later stage of the mod.

With so many factions, won't their abilities become homogenized? For instance, the same ability might just be renamed and reused on a different unit.

This mod made me come back to play World of Warcraft III, but we must have a mod that we can select more units, it's annoying to be limit on the selection of units all the time...this drive me nuts!!!

You can always create control groups with Ctrl + 1, 2, 3, 4, and manage your army that way, but I understand what you mean.
We may find a workaround in a future release.
