Adware: Downloaad Keepper

This thing, also known as DownlloAAd kueeper, somehow found a way into my computer.

I didn't have any suspicions until some random words in wikipedia started having ads. Then some time later I saw strangely placed adds in the hive too.

I uninstalled this thing and ss helper, now everything seems to be fixed.

Reminder to all: If something looks fishy, then it probably is.

I'm not even sure how, actually. In any case, I looked around a bit and found that the first 2 things are mentioned as adware in some blog.

Whenever you're installing something, always look at the text next to the box where it says "I Agree", sometimes multiple programs are installed with the program you're trying to install.

I do that all the time. There is the chance that something slipped by, but it seems unlikely.

They're really crafty about it these days, putting the text in really odd areas and shrinking the font size and such.
