Advanced Abilities

Hi

I have been digging around to find how to add more features to my WE. I downloaded NewGen editor but it doesnt have what i want: WEU's Ability editor. Is there a way to add it to my WE without downloading WEU itself?

I don't think it will be possible to do that..
WE is kinda very old so there's no like auto-download or something that seems similar today.
Using NewGen is very useful among the professional mapmakers. It has a several tools which can make the work easier and better like a better tool for editing tooltips and tooltip description.

Most professional mapmakers don't recommend using WEU due because they said that it's buggy.

Not even a patch like executable?

Also i only need the Ability Editor Part, or something. I edited a map, by mistake, and i found these settings:

If you managed to export the WEU's ability editor, I'm unsure how to add that tool into WE since I can't find a right link of adding tools into WE so I can't help it.

Also, what setting? Screenshots? Notes? I think you discontinued something.

I did noticed that. Is this how the WEU's Ability Editor looked like when creating an ability in WEU?
If so then in-game, it's order string would be fatal if there's 2 or more spell that's both to each other but the only different it's stats and they're both non-passive. (Feel free to corrected me, I'm just too lazy to achieve an 300 post)

All right, here are my findings:

This is a bug.
This is almost certain NOT a function of WEU, although i dont have WEU to test it myself.
This was NOT intented by the creator.

You reached 300 posts btw.

EDIT: I will look for more bugs like this to confirm it being a bug, or just that map.

EDIT2: To resolve this: This has nothing to do with the creator of the map. If anyone is intrested you can find this bug if you create an ability, on a campaign map when is loaded. Not on campaign editor. I hope i am clear. Anyway if someone is intrested and has some time to spare can go exploit this. You can probably find this bug while using WE or NewGenWE. Just edit a map of a campaign.

WEU simply adds all ability fields to all abilities. This is done by modifying files. Do note that 99% of abilities will never use those fields. Does not look like what he is after?

I used WE and JNGWE to a few more campaigns, like the demo W III had already, and they where the same. I dont think this is because of WEU. And yes this is what im after but I hoped the abilities would actually use the extra stuff. Whats the ability that can use the rest of the stuff?

The blue abilities are from the campaign editor? Guessing this is some part of that.

They are from the campaign, yes.
