after you have import the music, go to the sound editor ssearch the music and right klick on it, then choose use as music and now u can use it. use a trigger to play for example:

Event: every ?? seconds of gametime
(type in a number. the best is if the song are 1minute long then type in 60 so after the song finishes it will begin again)

condition: none

Action: play music (Select the song u want to play)

you could also add it as sound so you can simply add "looping" as option in the sound menu. just use play sound at mapinitialization. however: some people might run winamp in the backround and will be annoyed because they can't disable the music.

as for the filesize, musictracks are usually the biggest part of the map (if they are custom) so you might consider reducing the kb/s rate to about 96 with programs like WinLAME (google for that). you will hardly notice any difference at all and this should reduce the mapsize to about 50% (depends on the current kb/s rate).
