Adding attached screenshots as thumbnails

I was wondering if it's still possible to attach screenshots as thumbnails to posts.

Recently I tried to update the post showing the terrains I've made for my project so far. But now I can't add screenshots as a nice preview anymore.
Or can I?

If you want to you can attach them separately after uploading them to your post with this cute thing that sort of looks like a poorly manufactured Braun shaver (

) otherwise they'll just latch on the the bottom of your post.

Well that's basic information. That's not really the problem.
The problem is that in a post I update once in a while I put screenshots as attachments. All of them had a small preview picture under the post. But nowadays when I add screenshots to a post the same way I used to do they don't show a small preview picture anymore. Atleast... Not to me...

It's pretty shit that I can't continue my terrain gallery like this and have to think of something else, unless this able to be changed.

I think they latch on well for me. It's probably the extension.

Apparently it doesn't attach .jpg so just convert them to .png or something.

What I was trying to say is that the pictures that DID get a small preview were JPG too. I have always done this the same way. Print Screen, Paint, and save as jpg and put them online. Now suddenly it doesn't work anymore while the previous one's are still in that post... JPG + with a preview.
I can give it a shot with .png, but it makes no sence since the first ones were jpg. too.

edit: it worked when I converted them to .png.
Shitty change though because the quality with converting jpg to png stays the same, while filesize becomes much bigger.

Probably budget cut-downs. No but really, there's been some changes around here that has gone unannounced. Not sure if it's clumsy maintenance or behind the scenes work, but you could sniff around I suppose.

Don't know if this one in particular has been addressed before though.
