Alright, I'm going to try texture individuals as opposed to just random ideas. So, here, Abelard, the novice mage.
"Although not particularly good in his profession, Abelard would not accept nonsense from either his fellow initiates or anyone else, for that matter. His peaceful and uneventful existence was cut short the moment he chose to go against his kin for the sake of a sharadar anarchist, with whom he is currently traveling"
Note, I will try to represent said anarchist as well.

I'm actually in love with his face lol. His expression is awesome 
I also like the detail in his hair, the receded hair-line etc work really well. It's like you've given him some character, rather than making him generically good looking like most human skins
I'll admit, theres nothing I can suggest through fear of ruining the awesome unique style you have going +rep!

The face should have some shadows from the hood. Design-wise, though, I really like it, especially his expression.

Pink Guy in Fancy Clothes was a pretty random texture, with no backstory, so no. As for Jaian, yeah, they're from the same universe, just eons apart.
