It still looks ugly like hell, believe me... Played a few maps that uses exactly your suggested combination, and it does not look like The Eye at all, although all players know what it is supposed to be.

I only ask for a close as possible "Lidless" Eye model only because I have tried to use the examples you gave but in my opinion it made the resto of the tower look horrible. That and I as hopping to get the Lidless Eye to be able to look around like the Lord of the Rings where Sauron is looking over his army moving toward the Black Gate

Use a model editor and remove the rest of the model if needed. Or just use it as it is.
