A question about Channel

I guess a lot of people ask this, but I couldn't google it, so I'm writing it right now. Changing Channel's order string does matter, on the countrary to all other skills. Does it mean that I can shift+click on it and write ANYTHING and it will work?

I know, there are dozens of skills in WC3, but in my map there will be 60 spells and everyone will be able to have any of them, so NONE can collide and thus, channel proves to be the best of all skills for this matter.

Probably no, the data field is labeled as 'Base Order Id' which probably means it retrieve the orderid of the orderstring inputted inside the field.
So no, you can't use shift+click to write anything and expect it to work.
Probably Blizzard try to prevent user to input random 'Base Order Id' by making default input method as drop down menu.

Well as always, you can try it yourself and find it out by yourself, no need to ask about it then.

Back then I hadn't my CPU, now I do and I checked - nope, it doesn't work. Whenever I change it it reffers to 'Channel' order, I believe.

you can only pick from existing ones... also, there are more than 60 spell order id and orderstrings to choose from anyway... take note that, it's the Base Order ID that matters really...

Well yes, I'm aware there are like... more than 200, I believe. Still, I had a pretty much of a problem after starting to work on my map after a while of not turning the World Editor at all, 'cause I forgot about Channel and I did more than 40 skills while constantly worrying about the order strings. I lost so much time and now the Channel seems like an oasis after weeks of walking through the desert
