[Spell] A question about ability – splash and auto cast

Is there such ability in wc3 that makes unit to do splash/area damage with auto attacks for some time or at all?

You can use Item Damage Increase ability and set area effect and do AoE damage.

so 1.orb of fire does bonus damage and allows to attack air units, but does not do splash damage. 2. I can't find cleave in items or abilities. 3. pulverize does fixed damage to nearby enemy units. Yes, can be useful, but not exaclty what I'm looking for.

will it work if i set area of effect to any damaging ability?

In your object editor hot ctrl+f and type in cleave and you will find it. I think it is the closest to what you are looking for.

My mistake, it is called Cleaving Attack try searching for that.

All the orbs in warcraft 3 have a special ability, the orb of fire special is that it does splash damage 140 splash damage in fact.

"Orb of Fire
Adds 5 bonus fire damage to the attack of a Hero when carried. The Hero's attacks also become ranged when attacking air and do splash damage to nearby enemy units."

Cleave is listed under Neutral Hostile.

switch attacks, and make everyones attack 2 be the same as one and make it AoE(there are fields for that)

Or just use the orb of fire, disable additional attacks (keep using attack - 1). That's it.

yea I dont really recommend my way, because the more units you have that can get the ability, the more units' second attack must be modified

Use the Orb of Annihilation ability that the UD destroyers have normally. It burns mana, but you can change that.
