Now, I know what your thinking, "your already making a map". True, I am. But I was doing my after-passover spring cleaning when I found my Nintendo 64. No, not Gamecube or WII, the good old 64'. And what was inside? The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time. Now, before I continue further, know that I put it in the Warcraft section for the following reason: I AM NOT PLANNING TO MAKE THIS MAP, THIS IS JUST AN IDEA I WAS THINKING OF. With that said, the Map/Campaign Projects is off-limits, and this was the only place I thought suitable for such a post. Anyways. Moving on.

As far as games go, the Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is my absolute favorite. Why? The haunting music (or atleast for me, themes such as the Lon Lon Ranch and the Overworld give me anxiety attacks... don't tell anyone!), which I could NEVER GET OUT OF MY HEAD, and... well, it's like a magical sort of attraction, really.

What I want someone to do is to make a GRAND Zelda map based on Ocarina of Time, preferably singleplayer, that pays homage to the legend that started it all. I HAVE seen a map around before that recreates Zelda... "Zelda Open RPG" or something like that. I'll admit, it was good, but it didn't really bring back the memories of my near-owning of Ganondorf and so on. What do I propose? Gentlemen, I say that one of YOU GUYS (since I've got work to do in real life AND on my map) makes such a map. If you do, I will do WHATEVER is in my power to reward you. Why? Because Zelda is awesome, and it deserves a good map honoring it.

Edit: And note, this is NOT a request. It's a suggestion, I don't honestly care if you do it or not. But still...

I actually was thinking about how to make the gameplay differ from that of melee Warcraft III... but I'm not such a remarkable triggerer and don't really know how it would work. And then there's the problem with multi-tiered Dungeons and enterable buildings and so on.

ppl i need someone to make a model of ragnaros and such as elemental bosses.Mine idea is:picture a map,RPG.
1.beautiful terrain, lots of nature and creeps living in threr.ž
2.Mighty Heros and many coustum items and skills.
3.A story,let´s say 3 factions(exemple:Humans,elfs and trolls or something).
4. After quests are done, there will be a side quest, like Gods Anger. Then Hero(whitch should be max LvL(lets say 15-20) is trying to kill those Gods or whatever. They will be huge, powerful, with lot of mana and over 9000HP.They will also drop much better items.
So picture that.If you know someone that can make such as models, please tell my.My e-mail is [email protected].

Yeah... this is not the place for requests to get done. I was giving an idea for a map... you are talking about completely unrelated matters that this thread wasn't made for.

Good old Zelda... I completely agree with Deadnerzhul, it's one of the best games I've played in my life!
Well, the suggestions is good but it may be too ambitious - the number of triggers required to make that map would be uncountable, plus creating adecuate models and all that... It would take some time.
For now, you should clean the 64 from it's unending dust and replay the whole game, in memoriam of all the good hours you spent in front of the TV... Maybe I do it myself! :p

Actually, a buddy of mine is working on one. He posted a demo of it in the maps section. It rocks TOTAL FACE. He even let me on a little secret: he's working on a large-scale campaign, beginning with the Kokiri Forest.
