no it's 1 Byte= 8 bit and 1 kilobyte=1024 Byte. (i think kB is not the same as B :wink: )

Not very clear or? in the Calculator is 1MB=1024KB in the table it is 1MB=1000KB. But i dont know. i think the calculator is better cause everyone thinks 1MB=1024KB or????

Ok i'll try to explain it in this post:
The smallest amount of space is 1 bit
there goes 8 bit on one byte.
1024 bytes on one kilobyte (even though kilo means 1000 :S)
1024 kilobytes on one megabyte (even though mega means 1000000)
1024 megabytes on one gigabyte
and so on

Anyway, i thought it was a thousand megabyte in a gigabyte, but i guess not. How can one find out?
